Before a show

A short technical check, followed by the rehearsal that software cannot do for you.

Open the check

Click the top-bar status light, then Pre-show check & backups. The panel reads the current output, audio and save states. Use its refresh action after changing files or restoring a backup.

  1. Projectors. Every enabled output should be open, on the intended display and fullscreen. Check the actual wall or object, not only the preview.
  2. Flash limit. Check each output's reported status. “Active” confirms the running renderer; “ready” means waiting for normal show playback. “Unavailable” is not protection. Read what each state means.
  3. Picture. Check brightness, blackout, alignment, masks and overlap blends. Scan and calibration patterns are separate from normal content limiting.
  4. Assets. Resolve missing media, looks or scan files. Play every song and video to check decoding and timing.
  5. Sound. Start playback with a click if the browser requests it. Listen on the actual sound system, set a comfortable level and check the beginning, a seek, a pause and a loop.
  6. Save and backup. Wait for Saved and download a current checked archive. Confirm the file is in Downloads or your chosen folder.
  7. Rehearse. Run the GO order and your busiest scene at full output resolution. Keep the browser and computer awake and powered.

When something is wrong

Copy diagnostics creates a report you can paste into a support conversation. If clipboard access is unavailable, the panel shows a text box to copy manually. It includes operational states and counts, not project names, media or secrets. Add a plain description of the problem and the action that caused it; see report contents.

The panel is a check, not an automatic show-readiness certificate. It cannot see a misdirected projector, hear a muted amplifier or predict every hardware failure.
