Release notes
Changes to the studio and manual, with a release identifier you can include in a support report.
2026.09.29.1 · 29 September 2026
- Checked project exports now report missing referenced media, looks and scans instead of silently producing an incomplete archive. Home and pre-show views show local export history and storage information.
- Projector windows report flash-limiter state, including unsupported graphics and lost contexts. The status panel and output settings display that operational state.
- A pre-show panel brings together outputs, fullscreen, assets, sound, saving and backups, with a privacy-conscious Copy diagnostics action.
- Contextual help links lead directly to the relevant manual section in a separate tab.
- The manual now covers timeline songs, backups, data handling, compatibility and server setup, with three practical lessons, downloadable projects and short recordings.
- The marketing site links to Learn. Release checks cover manual links, media, contextual anchors, look and shortcut references and critical browser workflows.
What the release marker means
The guides describe this source release. Automated checks verify structure, navigation and selected workflows; they do not certify every physical projector, phone, GPU or venue. The compatibility page distinguishes simulator and layout checks from hardware validation. AI integrations are validated for this release. Illustrative fixture captures are labelled separately.
Earlier work
The original v1 specification is historical: its excluded features and material count are no longer a capability list. See What prism can do for the present product and the repository's decisions log for implementation history.
